


Warehouse Handler
Location: Plattsburgh, NY (potential travel to Canada, including overnight)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $18.90 - $21.00 per hour

About the Roles:
Micro Bird USA LLC is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Handler for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment, machinery, and systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing mechanical failures, replacing defective parts, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The Maintenance Mechanic plays a critical role in maintaining production efficiency and extending the lifespan of equipment in industrial, manufacturing, or facility settings.

What you will do regularly:

Load, unload, and move materials within or near the facility or work site.

Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.

Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by performing regular stock checks, cycle counts, and ensuring proper labeling and organization of materials

Opens containers using steel cutters, crowbar, claw hammer, or other hand tools.

Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.

Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools.

Assembles crates to contain products, using hand tools and precut lumber. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.

Loads and unloads trucks with forklift/pallet jack.

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
-
Organize and store materials in designated locations to optimize space and accessibility.

Pick and prepare materials for production, assembly, or shipping.

Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions using warehouse management systems (WMS)

Lifts heavy objects by hand, and maintains cleanliness of work area, machines, and equipment, using broom, rags, and cleaning compounds.
