Job Title: Vehicle Shipping Clerk
Location: Plattsburgh, NY (potential travel to Canada, including overnight)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $24.00/hour-$27.00/hour
Start Date:November 2025

About the Role:
A Vehicle Shipping Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and logistical support to relating to the shipping of finished buses, including invoicing, delivery coordination, and data management to ensure efficient vehicle deliveries and accurate documentation. This role ensures accurate documentation, inspection, scheduling, and processing of outgoing vehicles, working closely with internal teams and external transport providers to guarantee safe and timely deliveries.

What you will do regularly:
  • Prepare and track delivery packages and related documents.
  • Process and issue vehicle invoices (Ready for delivery) via financing or wire transfer.
  • Maintain invoicing and delivery records in spreadsheets and system.
  • Send invoices and coordinate transport and releases with dealers.
  • Ensure vehicles are paid and ready prior to delivery.
  • Prepare delivery envelopes, inspection sheets, and shipping documents.
  • Body and Chassis MSO management.
  • File and archive sales records.
  • Perform other related administrative tasks as needed
Minimum Requirements:
  • 5 years’ experience in administrative production, inventory, or procurement-related role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP or inventory management systems.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry tools or materials up to 25 lbs.
  • Work in a manufacturing setting with varying temperatures.
  • Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
