Project Manager – Contract Readiness

Location: Plattsburgh, NY (travel to Canada as needed)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually
Start Date:March 2026
Micro Bird USA LLC is seeking a Project Manager – Contract Readiness who will ensure that an awarded contract will be ready to be introduced to the factory for successful execution and delivery to the dealer or end customer. This role requires cross-functional work with commercial, technical, legal, procurement, and operations teams to drive standardization, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement in contract executions.

What you will do regularly:
    • Own and manage the Contract Readiness process across all activities from contract award to delivery of finished product to dealer or end customer.
    • Plan & lead efforts to continuously improve the Contract Readiness process.
    • Ensure contracts are executed in compliance with internal standards, contractual obligations, and applicable regulations.
    • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to align contract strategies, timelines, and deliverables.
    • Develop and maintain contract processes, workflows, templates, and governance documentation.
    • Monitor contract performance, identify gaps or risks, and implement corrective actions.
    • Act as a subject matter expert on the Contract Readiness process, providing guidance, training, and support to contract teams.
    • Take part in reviews, approvals, and gate progression to ensure consistency and quality.
    • Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to leadership.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, transparency, and compliance in Contract operations.
Minimum Requirements:
All applicants should have at least 5 years of experience in leadership and/or project-related roles, preferably in the automotive or transportation industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or other related field. We will consider equivalent relevant work experience and certifications in lieu of education.
    • Certification in Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, Operations Management, or similar is a plus.
    • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within contract, bid management, operations, or commercial environments in transportation manufacturing.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively driving change and influencing teams without direct authority at all levels of the organization.
    • Strong understanding of contract processes, governance, and operational standards.
    • Experience implementing or managing standardized frameworks, policies, or compliance programs.
    • Proficient in project management tools and documentation standards.
