About the Role:
Micro Bird USA LLC is seeking a hands-on Data Analyst who is responsible for transforming operational data into actionable business intelligence that supports Procurement, Logistics, Inventory Control, and Manufacturing Operations. The role develops reporting, dashboards, system analytics, and performance metrics while ensuring data integrity across ERP, WMS, and related business systems.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Data Analyst identifies opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, warehouse performance, procurement efficiency, production support, and overall operational decision-making. The position also supports ERP implementations, system governance, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you will do regularly:
Operational Analytics
- Collect, validate, clean, and analyze operational data from ERP, WMS, and supporting systems.
- Develop dashboards and KPI scorecards for Procurement, Logistics, Inventory Control, and Warehouse Operations.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, warehouse productivity, material flow, shortages, inventory turns, OTIF, and operational performance.
- Analyze trends and identify root causes of operational issues.
Business Intelligence & Reporting:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and executive reporting.
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Create automated reporting to reduce manual effort.
- Support management with ad hoc analysis and executive presentations.
Inventory & Warehouse Support:
- Monitor inventory integrity and identify discrepancies.
- Support cycle count analysis and inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Analyze warehouse utilization, storage capacity, slotting effectiveness, and material movement.
- Assist with warehouse optimization projects.
- Support supplier performance reporting.
- Maintain Procurement/Logistics scorecards and contract readiness metrics.
- Assist with demand forecasting and inventory planning.
- Analyze shortages and material availability trends.
- Support ERP, WMS, Factory Track, and future system implementations.
- Assist with system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing.
- Validate master data including Items, BOMs, Routings, Warehouses, and Inventory Transactions.
- Identify system control gaps and recommend improvements.
Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Develop metrics that measure process performance.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process simplification.
- Support cross-functional improvement projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Logistics, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum two years of experience in data analytics within manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, procurement, or supply chain.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience using Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience with ERP systems (Infor preferred).
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
- Strong analytical and statistical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma considered an asset.
